bingo nights
-
art therapy events
-
speakers
-
game nights
-
service projects
-
tours of Agnes Scott for elementary school children
-

The Psi Chi Constitution requires that undergraduate students must have the following to qualify for membership:

-
Must have completed 3 semesters at Agnes Scott*
-
Must be a declared psychology major or minor
-
Must have completed at least 3 psychology courses (listed as a PSY course) at Agnes Scott not using the pass/fail option
-
Must have an overall GPA at or above 3.5
-
Must have at least a 3.5 psychology GPA
* Undergraduate students who have transferred to Agnes Scott must meet the requirements listed above, except they need only to have completed 2 semesters at Agnes Scott
The way member selection works is that the registrar gives a list of declared majors and their GPAs to the Faculty Advisor, Dr. Jenny Hughes, at the beginning of each semester. Then the students who meet the cutoffs are asked to verify that they have completed 3 psychology courses (not pass/fail) by giving Dr. Hughes a copy of their degree audit. If you have questions about the process, please ask Dr. Hughes (jhughes@agnesscott.edu).
