Internship Experiences​

"An impactful internship I had in psychology was when I interned at Hirsch Academy, a school for children with sensory, motor, and learning differences. Ever since high school, I always wanted to be a special education teacher. This internship gave me the chance to shadow as a teacher assistant and see if this was the career I want to move forward with. My supervisor was the occupational therapist of the school, and I loved what she did for the students. She told me that she loved her job, and that is what made me want to become an occupational therapist working with students with sensory, motor, and learning differences." Rayah Kassis ‘23
